System requirements

FFOSSO runs on a large variety of systems and uses resources quite efficiently. The requirements will vary depending on the kind of projects you want to run with it – using lots of instruments and instances will require more resources, for instance.
Here are some general pointers for FFOSSO itself:

macOS 11 or higher, Intel Core i5 or similar, 8GB RAM (16GB+ recommended), 200 MB free disk space on the system drive

Windows 10 64bit x64, Intel Core i5 or similar, 8GB RAM (16GB+ recommended), 800 MB free disk space on the system drive

FFOSSO is not supported on Linux or any other operating systems.

Formats: Standalone, VST3, AAX, AU (macOS only)

We recommend SSD drives over regular HDD for the best performance results.
