Spectre Strings

Ghostly string ensemble

A library of ghosts. Fragile, spectral, and quietly alive, Spectre Strings inhabits the spaces just beyond perception. Strings tremble, fold, and flicker, like old ghosts brushing past unseen corners, harmonics glinting at the edges of hearing. Each patch carries its own personality, shaped by signature playing ideas—trembling harmonics, unstable sustains, and textures that shift and breathe as you interact with them. Two layers for every phantom move independently, creating subtle motion, tension, and surprises that reveal themselves gradually under touch. Recorded with a 15-piece ensemble at Sonic Fuel Studios, performances are intimate, raw, and full of fragile energy, capturing the delicate unpredictability of live interaction.

About the instrument

Sounds flow and fold, rough edges smoothing into fluid motion, constantly changing, dynamic, and quietly enveloping.

Voice-like harmonics and delicate, unstable sustains add points of detail, while layers interact to create depth and dimension that respond to your play.

Atmospheres shift seamlessly between hushed stillness and moments of sudden clarity, giving a sense of fragile tension, drifting, and quiet discovery.
