Intermodal engine

2 available instruments

Dual-core hybrid synthesizer The Intermodal engine combines a deep wavetable synthesizer engine with multi-sampled acoustic sources to create hybrid textures that live between worlds. A single Synthetic–Organic control sits at the center of the instrument, crossfading between the wavetable core and the acoustic layer while the audio-reactive visualizer traces the movement in real time. Three assignable macros give quick, expressive control over combinations of sound generators, modulators, and effects, and a MAIN/ARP switch lets the same interface double as a pattern-driven arpeggiator, turning held notes into driving sequences or abstract, semi-random clusters.

Engine features

Whether you're building pulsing arpeggiated sequences, morphing slow synthetic-acoustic pads, or fusing recorded texture with raw waveforms into something that resists easy categorization, Intermodal turns two distinct sound worlds into a single expressive instrument. From the eroded, gritty textures of Exhumed to the airy, dissipating forms of Vapours, the same dual-core engine can sit at either end of that spectrum, or anywhere in between.

Deeper settings split the engine across Synth, Sampler, and FX pages. The synth side offers pitch, wave, filter, envelope, and modulation controls with two LFOs and velocity routing; the sampler side shapes the acoustic layer with its own envelope, random pan, and interval tuning. Six FX processors — filter, grit, EQ, compressor, tape delay, and reverb — sit across both sources for complete sound design, each with its own macro modulation routing.
